ABOUT
ME
Lynda Wright
In my early teens I was overweight and had no idea how to eat. Donuts, milkshakes, burgers, and peanut butter sandwiches were regular staples along with cookies, ice cream and other various sweet treats. Finally with an extra 35lbs it was time to do something.

Several years later while pursuing a career in sales and marketing, I decided to take my career off the road to spend time with my children while focusing on a new career in Personal Training. With my deep appreciation for fitness, nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, I became a certified Personal Trainer under the American Council on Exercise. In addition, I was able to maintain a healthy weight through proper nutrition, exercise, flexibility, and mobility to incorporate into every day life while creating balance and good health.

In 2006 and 2007 I decided to take fitness one step further by signing up for a regional state figure competition. Within three months I transformed my body from some muscle to adding more muscle where symmetry would be judged by a panel of judges on the National Physique Committee. I placed 4th in my first competition and 2nd at age 39 in the second competition. This accomplishment encouraged me to go to the Nationals where I would compete against 190 women from across the United States in both NYC and The Las Vegas National Figure Competitions. It grew my passion for proper nutrition and sculpting a strong body for life and everyday activities.

Recently, in 2021 and 2022 I underwent two Open Heart Surgeries due to a Bicuspid Aortic Valve which created a life threatening aneurysm. The first surgery was very successful and I was back to training in 6 weeks with light weights. In May 2022 I was informed that my new valve was damaged requiring a repeat of the first surgery. This surgery was done in August 2022. After the 2nd surgery I was back to training within 7 weeks and hiking mountains, which is another passion I enjoy.

These events have taught me how to rebound from traumatic surgery as well as to pass this knowledge onto my clients, allowing them to enjoy active lifestyles no matter what obstacles they face in life. I have 24 years of experience coaching clients at many different levels of fitness and have worked with clients ranging from young children to 95 yrs old providing programs offering them the best results for each level of fitness.
